Call for Papers Ege Strategic Research Journal proposes and fosters discussion on strategic topics in international relations, economics and business. The origins and patterns of global flows are not isomorphic. Therefore, in a world of intensified global flows, people and goods, ideas and ideologies, images and messages, technologies and techniques are moving in different speeds and directions. The main aim of ESRJ is to engage in scientific research and strategic projects on Turkey, its immediate neighbors and the wider surroundings, more specifically the Balkans, Southern Europe and Eastern Europe as well as the Mediterranean region. With these objectives, ESRJ is seeking to generate scientific knowledge on a global level and contribute to social development and scholarly arena. A more innovative analysis and better understanding of international relations is essential in today’s global, political, social, economical and business environment. New perspectives, theories and frameworks are necessary to develop a satisfactory understanding of a dynamic, complex and evolving environment of international relations, economics and business in the global system. Subject Coverage ESRJ encourages interdisciplinary studies. It mainly publishes international relations, but also welcomes studies on economics, business, geography, anthropology, sociology, international security, strategic studies and area studies. Objectives The objectives of ESRJ are to establish an effective channel of communication between policy makers, government agencies, academic and research institutions and experts concerned with international relations, economics and business. Studies involving policy, enterprise, industry and country-specific issues with a regional or international focus are particularly welcome. Contents ESRJ is a refereed journal and manuscripts submitted for consideration of publication are subject to peer review. ESRJ publishes original papers, review papers, policy reports, case studies, conference papers, book reviews, and commentaries. ESRJ is published two times a year in January and July. It is published by Ege Strategic Research Centre, Ege University, Turkey. Submission of papers written in Turkish and English are welcome. Articles submitted to the ESRJ should be original contributions. If any version of the submitted article is under consideration by another publisher, or has been or will be published elsewhere, authors should clearly indicate this at the time of submission. By submitting an article for consideration to the ESRJ, authors relinquish their copyright over the published articles to the ESRJ.
