Sam Houston State University is pleased to announce its First International/Interdisciplinary Conference on Medieval and Renaissance Thought. The event will be held on the campus of Sam Houston State, Huntsville, Texas, on April 4-6, 2013.

The event features University of London's Professor Richard North, Scholar of Old English Literature.

You are invited to send your 250-300-word abstract to Dr. Darci Hill, Conference Coordinator, on any topic dealing with Medieval and/or Renaissance Thought. If you would like to propose a special session, you are welcome to do that as well. We welcome papers or performances dealing with language and linguistics, literature, music, philosophy, history, art, theater, the history of the book, and dance.
