I'm seeking persons who would be interested in being part of a panel for the 2013 CHA conference in Victoria; the deadline is near [Oct 15 2012]. I am interested in creating a session that addresses the degree to which political borders [which is mentioned as part of this year's theme] are often irrelevent to ideas about and work that involves nature, technology and science. My general interest is the use of chemicals to kill insects in Canada's forests in the 1920s, and in particular the factors that allowed our country to lead our southern neighbours in pioneering in this field during this period.
Of course I would be happy to tailor my paper to suit panels on a range of topics, and would welcome any ideas in this regard.
Please send responses to Mark Kuhlberg at mkuhlberg@laurentian.ca
Have a great day.
