The New York African Studies Association (NYASA) will hold its 38th Annual Meeting, April 5–6, 2013, at Binghamton University. The Local Organizing Committee takes special pride in announcing that this annual meeting also takes place on the occasion of the eightieth birthday of Professor Ali A. Mazrui and the fiftieth anniversary of his publishing career.
The Institute of Global Cultural Studies at Binghamton University, host of the 2013 annual meeting of NYASA, invites abstracts of papers, proposals for presentations, panels and round-tables.
