In June 2013 (27th-29th) William Paterson University, located in Wayne, New Jersey, will host the Fifth Biennial Conference of the William Carlos Williams Society on the theme of "Williams and Women."
The roundtable format of the conference means participants' papers (15-20 pages) will be circulated shortly before the meeting to all registered as attending. Each speaker is allotted one hour and will give a short 10-15 minute introduction of their work leaving the rest of the hour free for questions and discussion from the floor. The presentations will take place on Thursday 27th June and Friday 28th June, with events planned for the final day to take advantage of the unique relevance of the conference location to Williamsís life and work and will include tours of Paterson and Rutherford sites.
Please submit proposals of one page to Ian Copestake at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, February 1st, 2013. Those accepted for inclusion will then be asked to submit their longer papers
for circulation a week prior to the meeting.
