What happens when scholars remove the lines that separate states, nations, generations, the sexes, and other divisions in society? The International Graduate Historical Studies Conference at Central Michigan University seeks to find out on April 5-6, 2013.
The International Graduate Historical Studies Conference will host “History without Borders” at Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, on April 5-6, 2013. IGHSC will present cash prizes for the best papers in several categories.
We are also very happy to announce that the IGHSC’s keynote speaker for the conference will be Harvard historian David Armitage.
Those interested in presenting should send an abstract of no more than 350 words and a short CV as an attachment to histconf@cmich.edu.
The chairs will give preference to those papers received during the early submission period, which ends November 4, 2012. The deadline for regular submission is January 13, 2013.
