The Japan Foundation hosts a public symposium, "Transcending Borders: New Trends in International Cultural Exchange", on Friday, November 9th, 2012, to commemorate its 40th anniversary.
The symposium will invite leading figures across a variety of fields such as novelist, artist, architect, academic and social entrepreneur, from around the world to explore the future prospects of international cultural exchange and public diplomacy in the changing international circumstances.
