The Humanities and Western Civilization Program at The University of Kansas announces the fourth annual Mid-America Humanities Conference in interdisciplinary studies. This year's conference theme is Journeys: Transforming Inner and Outer Landscapes and Spaces. This conference is a forum for undergraduate and graduate student research. We are seeking proposals on the ways in which human movement through time and space transforms inner and outer landscapes and spaces. Papers are welcome from all disciplines in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences. Proposals are due December 7, 2012 and may be sent electronically to hwc@ku.edu
