The Women and Gender Studies program at Morgan State University announces a one-day conference on "Intersections of Sexuality, Gender, Race and Ethnicity" on March 9, 2013. Send one-page abstracts via e-mail to intersectionssymposium@gmail.com with the following information: Author's name, Title of Submission, Institutional Affiliation; Academic Discipline and Contact Information including mailing address, phone number, and e-mail. The sumbission deadline in December 7 and notification of acceptance is January 28, 2013. The symposium will take place on the campus of Morgan State University, Baltimore, MD. Submissions are invited in the following areas:Human Rights, Marriage, Transgender Issues; Film and Literature; Govenment and Law; Science and Medicine; Religion, Redefining Families; Health and Reproductive Rights; Popular Culture, Global Contexts and Mental Health. The organizers encourage proposals in creative formats including artwork.
