The Faculty of Journalism and the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Sciences of al-Farabi Kazakh National University will organize International Scientific-Practical conference ‘The Role of Media Culture in Development of Intellectual Potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan’ dedicated to the 20th year anniversary of the National symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan, November 9, 2012

• National Intellectual Potential Development is the main vector of government policy
• Kazakhstan’s Mass Media as an informational-communicative space in creation of intellectual society
• The Role of Media Culture in development of Kazakhstan’s Intellectual Potential
• Significance of Kazakh literature and art in formation of intellectual values
• Education and Science as an intellectual source in formation of civilizational society
• Significance of humanitarian technologies in development of national intellectual potential.
Publications:
Only oral presentation is accepted for publication. It’s planned to publish program and collection of conference treasuries. Content of text must be according to conference title. Papers should be offered either in electronic version and either in paper version. Papers shouldn’t exceed 5 pages and should be sent via e-mail: sultanbaeva_g@mail.ru, dana_baigozhina@mail.ru till 20th of October 2012.
Paper requirements:
1. Papers shouldn’t exceed 5 pages in MS Word program. Tables, figures, pictures should be titled.
2. Page parameters: all sides should be 0,8 inch
3. Print: Times New Roman, KZ Times New Roman, 14 ppt
4. Interval – 1, first line indent 0,5 inch
5. Article begins after one line left on purpose
6. References should be given according to appearance order in the text. Citations should be given in brackets with page number: [1, p.12]
Editors are not responsible for paper edition. Papers can be rejected by editors.
