The first seminar in the new Gender and History in the Americas series at the Institute of Historical Research will take place on Monday the 1st of October at 5.30pm. The seminar entitled 'Cigars and Politics: An Intersectional and Transnational Approach to Cuban Women's Immigration and Work in the United States, 1880-2000' will be given by Professor Jay Kleinberg (Brunel University). The seminar will take place in Senate House Montague Room (Room 26).
