Louise Young, Professor of Japanese History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will give a talk titled "Beyond the Metropolis: Second Cities and Modern Life in Interwar Japan" on Thursday, September 20 at Columbia University in New York City.
Professor Young's presentation, to be followed by questions from the audience, will begin at 6:00 p.m. in 403 Kent Hall. Free and open to the public.
