I am seeking papers for the panel "Lafcadio Hearn: East and West" to be held as a part of International American Studies Association (IASA) Congress in Szczecin, Poland, 3-6 August 2013. Hearn and his literary works have been analyzed mainly regarding his relation to Japan, and Hearn studies from a global viewpoint should require immediate attention. The Congress in which this panel is involved is entitled “Oceans Apart: In Search of New Worlds(s).”
