For its next issue, Zeteo is on the look out for intellectual essays and research papers that offer the fruits of interdisciplinary scholarship to our well-educated, reflective readers. We do not insist or expect that all essays and papers will be confined to one theme, however the theme of the Fall 2012 issue is Choice. How choice has been viewed or choices made during different historical periods and in different cultures and parts of the world. Choice as a subject in ethics, sociology, law and politics. Choices we make as consumers of food, fashions, films, ideas, or . . . There is also the possibility that choice is an illusion; our choices may be only choices or so channeled or encumbered by economic regimes, education, custom, biology, family dynamics. We do not expect that all submissions will be 5,000 words with footnotes. Surprise us with something shorter—a fragment, an exploration, a list, a letter or response, a series of annotated images, or . . .
Complete texts, proposals, or more informal queries should be sent to the Zeteo editorial collective at zeteojournal@gmail.com.
