Call for publication for the Spring 2013 edition of Muséologies Les cahiers d’études supérieures. This special issue, co-edited by Natasha S. Reid (PhD. Art Education) and Amélie Giguère (PhD. Museology, Mediation and Heritage) is dedicated to the Dialogue in Contemporary Art Museums: Education, Documentation, and Exhibitions.
Muséologies Les cahiers d’études supérieures is a peer-reviewed publication cutting across the arts production and scene, the humanities and the social sciences. Its mandate is to publish and promote interdisciplinary research (arts, social sciences and humanities) centered on the contemporary museum’s multiple functions and stakes.
This issue will explore ways that contemporary art museums are encountering and employing different forms of dialogue and how these inform and affect their art education practices, their approaches to documentation, and the development of their exhibitions.Please send abstract of original research (600 words) with coordinates before 14 October 2012.
