Editor James Ciment and Publisher M.E. Sharpe are seeking qualified scholars (professors, PhDs, graduate students only)to write articles for a new print and ebook reference book on democracy around the world.
The book includes articles on the nuts and bolts of politics and governance but also how democracy interacts with social, cultural, economic, and ideological phenomena. Categories of articles (which range in length from 500 words to 4000 words) include: biographies, culture, economics, eras, events, ideas and ideologies, international affairs, media and communications, nations and regions, politics and governance, religion, and society.
