On the centennial of the Missouri state flag, we invite paper and panel proposals on all aspects of history including Missouri and Midwestern, American, European, Non-Western, Historic Preservation, and Public History. The conference is particularly interested in proposals for complete sessions, including panelists, chair, and commentator. Anyone wishing to present a paper should submit a 100-200 word abstract and brief curriculum vitae. Panel proposals should include a brief abstract of the panel’s purpose, short descriptions of the individual papers, and brief cvs for all participants. All proposals should be submitted by email no later than December 15, 2012 to Dr. Joel P. Rhodes, Professor of History, Southeast Missouri State University, at jrhodes@semo.edu.
