The deadline to submit your paper, book review, or multimedia work to Public Knowledge Journal Volume 4 Issue 2 (theme: Interventions) is Saturday, October 20, 2012. Interventions in this call is broadly defined and may include topical areas such fiscal intervention, environmental intervention, and educational intervention. The extended call for papers is posted at http://pkjournal.org/. We encourage submissions from graduate students of all disciplines in order to approach the topic from a variety of perspectives.

Public Knowledge is an interdisciplinary, graduate student-run electronic journal hosted by the Center for Digital Discourse and Culture at Virginia Tech (ISSN 1948-3511). The journal uses a variety of communication technologies to develop scholarly conversations about topics in the public interest. We welcome contributions of articles for peer review, book reviews, essays, interviews, blogs, and other multimedia works. Authors retain the rights to their work.
