Heathwood Institute and Press is an independent, critical theoretical organization. Formed in a similar spirit to the Frankfurt School of old, our aim is to continuously and normatively break new grounds of intellectual and political thought, and to address the root causes of social, economic and environmental inequality.
We are looking to add to our current roster of researchers and have recently extended our open call for papers. While we are particularly interested in considering individuals who work in the fields of alternative economics and environmental sciences, this call is open to most every discipline in the humanities and social/natural sciences insofar that individual research aligns according to our collective mission and objectives.
If you feel that both yourself as an author/researcher and your work would fit well with the general aims and operations of Heathwood, we invite you to submit a proposal. We're not only looking for more exciting radical thinkers, but also long term colleagues to join what is becoming increasingly known as the Heathwood school of thought.
