Dear Colleagues,
We would like to invite you to become part of the Centre Community of our new Irish Centre for Transnational Studies (ICTS), based at Mary Immaculate College. Please see our website for further information: http://www.ictstudies.eu/
If you or your postgraduate students are interested in transnational studies, please send a quick email and we will include you in the mailing list and keep you informed about events and publications.
Our inaugural event will be a workshop focused on theoretical texts (Benjamin, Adorno, Amery, Foucault, Augé, de Certeau, etc) examining the concept of ‘Transnational Homes: Identities in Displacement’. The workshop, organised by Dr. Niall Keane, will take place in the TARA building, Mary Immaculate College, on September 21st. All texts for discussion will be made available to those interested in attending the workshop.
