Zeteo, The Journal of Interdisciplinary Writing (CUNY), is on the look out for intellectual essays and research papers that offer the fruits of interdisciplinary scholarship to our well-educated, reflective readers. We welcome exploratory pieces by established scholars, essays and papers by independent scholars and writers, and promising student work.
The theme of the Fall 2012 issue is Choice. How choice has been viewed or choices made during different historical periods and in different cultures and parts of the world. Choice as a subject in ethics, sociology, law and politics. Choices we make as consumers of food, fashions, films, ideas, or . . . There is also the possibility that choice is an illusion; our choices may be only choices or so channeled or encumbered by economic regimes, education, custom, biology, family dynamics . . .
