I am wanting to organize and submit a panel for the 2014 Berkshire Women's History Conference to be held at the University of Toronto from May 22-25, 2014. The panel would be focused on the impact of technology and science on the female condition, with my paper centered on the impact and importance of television on the female mind and body, and its overall effect on the family unit and gender constructs. I am looking to organize either a panel with three presenters and a commentator or a round-table discussion of 3-5 presenters. The deadline for panel submissions is January 15, 2013, and all submissions must include a 250 word abstract, cover letter and short CV. (Please consult website for further information). I am currently a second year Ph.D. student in history at the University of Toronto.
