Fall Symposium on New Interpretations of the Civil War: '1862: Following the Path to Freedom.' The Civil War Center at Kennesaw State University, in conjunction with the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, presents renowned Civil War historians Howard Jones, Craig Symonds, and George Wunderlich on Saturday, October 13 at 9:00 a.m. Jones will discuss diplomacy; Symonds will provide insights on Lincoln, the Emancipation dilemma, and colonization; and Wunderlich will share his expertise on Civil War medical practices! Please plan to attend these special events – free admission, and free parking available in Kennesaw State's West Parking Deck, located on Campus Loop Drive.
