Scientific Comittee was challenged to give an overview of broad range of topics covering „Adverse factors influencing early child development“. Important, reletively unknown public health issue will introduce participants in different aspects of dramatic biological and socio-emotional changes, specially in early child development, that might be caused by enviromental changes and adverse factors. To establish comprehensive approach to health, School will provide interdisciplinary set of presentations.
We invite paediatricians, school medicine specialists, general practitioners – family doctors, nurses, special educators, psychologists, social workers, public health workers and parent groups. Conceptually, after plenary lectures, there will be 20 minutes discussion time and 2 Workshops will provide good opportunity for active participation of fellows.
Program of the School is a part of early child development activities of UNICEF – Office in Croatia. Hosting institution - University of Zagreb, School of Medicine – „Andrija Stampar“ School of Public Health has long tradition and international reputation in a field of education, prevention and health promotion. It will be a pleasure to meet you here in Zagreb, share experience and knowledge and try to set new safety standards for early child development protection.
