A one day Symposium on Charles Dickens begins at 10.30 a.m. on 23 August 2012 to remember the author who was born in the year 1812.
The Inaugural Function will be presided by our Esteemed Vice Chancellor and the Keynote Speaker,Professor Arun Kumar of the Department of English, CCS University, Meerut will deliver a Lecture on "Great Expectations". The audience will consist of faculty, research scholars and postgraduate students cutting across disciplines.
The Programme after Lunch will feature two Special Lectures by eminent speakers followed by a Panel Discussion on the author and his works.
The Symposium will end with a Vote of Thanks and Tea.
