IITM China Studies Centre is organizing an international conference on the theme of PARTICIPATION, CONTESTATION AND LEGITIMATION IN CHINESE POLITICS on 3-5th of December 2012 at Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India.

The conference is open to faculty and post-doctoral fellows and senior doctoral candidates.
Kindly send an abstract of no more than 300 words outlining your proposed paper by 15th of August 2012 to csc@iitm.ac.in
IITM will pay accommodation and all meals during the conference for the selected participants.
Travel funding is available for selected participants in India.
Travel funding may be available for participants outside of India on a limited basis.
