Northern Illinois University is extending the Call for Papers to its 5th Annual History Graduate Student Conference, to be held in DeKalb, Illinois on Friday, 26 October 2012. Participants will present their work in a supportive and collegial setting, and meet future colleagues from other institutions and historical fields. To commemorate our fifth consecutive conference, the History Graduate Student Association will be publishing the most outstanding essays as well as offering awards for the top papers.
We invite you to submit abstracts for 15-20 minute papers in all fields of history. Please send proposals to email@example.com NO LATER THAN 31 August 2012. Abstracts must include full contact information, institutional affiliation, and primary field of study. We also encourage panel proposals for two or three presenters.
Please address questions to Mathieu Billings (firstname.lastname@example.org), Conference Organizer. Registration and program information will be sent in early September.
