Black Camera: An International Film Journal, a prestigious scholarly peer-review journal, is rapidly establishing itself as one of the premier arenas for the analysis, study, and assessment of Black film. (website: http://www.indiana.edu/~blackcam/home)
We are looking for individuals interested in reviewing books, films, dvds, blue-rays etc. and currently have a large number of both books and films awaiting review. We will also consider unsolicited review submissions of relevant material.
Reviews should be between 1000-1500 words. Longer submissions, including reviews of multiple texts, will be considered at the editors’ discretion. All reviews must meet the appropriate scholarly standards in order to be considered for publication in Black Camera.
