General Information
The objective of this master's degree is to offer studies in literary and cultural analysis which follow the guidelines proposed by the European Higher Education Area and which can be accredited in many European university study programs. In this degree, participants will acquire abilities in the knowledge of cultural affairs and skills in textual commentary and the comparative analysis of language registers in different Arts disciplines (two important examples here are cinema and theatre), as well as the analysis of intercultural dynamics and current developments in literary translation.
-To assimilate previously acquired studies and to become familiar with the work of cultural studies and research in the construction and representation of cultural identity.
-To conduct specialist study and receive an introduction to advanced research in the various areas of study in this master's degree, the design and preparation of a research project and the defence of its findings.
-To have an understanding of the plural nature of the cultural environment in which these studies are applied be able to assist in the training of modern language specialists and cultural managers, literary translators and teachers specialising in this area; to develop management and translation skills in matters of culture and cultural projects.
