The Regional Center for Research and Promotion of Constitutionalism (Republic of Georgia) and the Legal Resource Center at the American University of Armenia invite applications for participation in the International Student “Olympiad” on National and Comparative Constitutional law to be held in Batumi, Georgia, in September, 2012. This year, two students from Armenia will be invited to participate in the competition. The participants will be identified during the national round of the competition to be held in Armenia in June, 2012. The Legal Resource Center at the American University of Armenia will host the national round of the event in Armenia.
Students of any Armenian university who are engaged in undergraduate or graduate studies in law or related fields are eligible to apply for participation in the national round of the competition. Applicants are requested to send papers of up to 10 pages (Times New Roman, 1.5 spaced), elaborating on a topical issue of national or global constitutionalism, to firstname.lastname@example.org. As the official languages of the International competition are English and Russian, papers in these languages only will be accepted. The short-listed applicants will be invited to present their papers before the selection committee/jury composed of 3-5 distinguished experts which will identify the two winners. This final event will be open for the public.
