The inaugural issue of international peer-reviewed publication Trespassing Journal: An Online Journal of Trespassing Art, Science, and Philosophy hosts nine articles and four reviews that address "Trespassing Nation" in relation to various media including cinema, literature, television, graphic novels, and fashion. The issue is now online under the Creative Commons License at http://trespassingjournal.com/
Trespassing Journal is open to theoretical and stylistic experimentation and welcomes submissions that challenge physical and conceptual boundaries. In the spirit of overcoming academic and theoretical fatigue, we aim to bring together works of scholars, writers, and artists around the globe for innovative discussions.
The first set of contributors of Trespassing Journal demonstrate that trespassing is a significant juncture to be explored not only on the national level, but also accross concepts such as the trespassing of genre (which will be covered in our next issue), as well as trespassing gender, trespassing time, trespassing space and more significant and intriguing issues that our readers and contributors will raise in the future.
