I am editing an anthology called, Twin Crises: HIV/AIDS and Violence Against Women in Africa and the Black Diaspora. I currently have essays which address the situation in Africa and the United States. I need essays addressing this issue from the perspective of women from the Caribbean and Latin America; addressing the lives of women of African descent living in Canada or Europe; and/or providing an LGBT perspective.
Please send a brief description of your contribution, which includes a working title, estimated length and a brief bio of the author, by July 15th. Entries will be due on September 1, 2012.
