Call for Papers
The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) is one of India's premier institutes for training, teaching and research in Mass Communication. It was set up by the Government of India in 1965 on the recommendation of a team of internationally known mass communication specialists from UNESCO and the Ford Foundation.
The Institute publishes two journals, "Communicator" (in English, ISSN No. 0588-8093) and "Sanchar Madhyam" (in Hindi). The focus of these journals is to publish the best available scholarship on all aspects of mass communication and to encourage academic discourse in the field of media and related areas. The journals also publish articles and book reviews examining a wide range of issues in communication theory, research and practice. The journals seek to be a forum for communication scholarship and application and are especially interested in research which is multidisciplinary, based on the experience of India and other developing countries.
Articles for both the journals are currently being invited.
Please circulate this mail among your colleagues and scholars interested in contributing their articles for publication.

• Successful submissions generally run no longer than 30 typed double-spaced pages.

• Authors submitting manuscripts to the journal should not simultaneously submit them to another journal, nor should the manuscript have been published elsewhere in substantially similar form or with substantially similar content.
