The Third Conference includes two international panel sessions:“International Relations in East Asia”and “Political and Civil society in East Asia.”on November 25. We invite paper proposals for these panels. Applicants do not need to be members of the association-everyone is welcome to apply.
Paper proposals should be written in English and include a title, an abstract (400 words maximum), a brief personal biography (150 words maximum) and your session preference (either “International Relations in East Asia” or “Political and Civil Society in Asia”).
While the sessions are not strictly divided, we intend to deal with international or regional issues in the former session and the domestic issues concerning a particular country in the latter session (please see
the PDF files for details).
Please email proposals to Prof. Yoshie Kobayashi (email@example.com) and Assoc. Prof. Toru Oga (firstname.lastname@example.org) by 15 June 2012.
Successful applicants will be notified by early July 2012 and will be required to send in a completed draft paper (5,000?8,000 words) by 9 November 2012.
