The Editorial Board Team of the NWU Students’ Law Review (NWUSLR) gladly announces a brand new and exciting electronic law journal for all students. The NWUSLR was launched to serve as an academic platform for national and/or international students to express their views on the law. The focus of the NWUSLR falls on the publishing of contributions dealing with legal issues resonating within the theme “Development in the South African Constitutional State”. The contribution that the manuscript makes to the development of legal scholarship therefore serves as primary criteria for the acceptance and publication thereof in the NWUSLR. Furthermore, the NWUSLR aims to encourage critical thinking as well as the development of legal research and writing skills among prospective legal scholars and practitioners.
