Call for abstracts - NeMLA Conference 2013

This is a Call for Abstracts for a roundtable discussion on experiential education in second language pedagogy for the upcoming NeMLA Conference (Boston, Massachusetts, March 21-24, 2013).
What kinds of enriched educational opportunities could be integrated in a second language environment? And what are the benefits and the challenges of developing and delivering experiential components in this context? We invite proposals for a roundtable discussion on different learning experiences such as practicum, co-curricular programs and Community Service Learning projects and the linguistic, cultural and personal gains students experienced because of their involvement in these. Please submit 250-300 word abstracts (subject title: NeMLA) to malama.tsimenis@utoronto.ca by September 30, 2012.
