This is a call for papers for the panel "Myth, Inc. The Business World in Film and Television," which is part of the annual Film & History Conference (Milwaukee, Sept 26-30, 2012).
The business world, as idealized in film and television, sustains many enduring myths of modern life, such as anyone with the "right stuff" can "make it" starting from the bottom. Contributions that explore such myths in depictions of the business world are invited.
