CFP book chapters/feature articles on Car Radio. Seeking one page abstracts through August 1, 2013 for chapter/article contributions to Moving Sound: A Cultural History of Car Radio (working title), under contract to be completed September 2013. The edited collection investigates the interplay between the automobile, car radio, and the road, through present day. Writing should be accessible to a general audience, and well-researched. Creativity is encouraged in writing style, and we welcome scholars and laypeople with a story to tell. Feature articles should range from 1,000 to 4,000 words. Chapters should range from 5,000 to 8,000.
