The list of the panels and papers selected by the Scientific Committee for the African Studies Conference in Pavia is now available at the following web page:

Further paper proposals for open panels are to be sent to the following address:

The deadline is 1st June 2012.
Paper proposals must include: a) title; b) abstract (a maximum 1000 characters); c) a brief profile of the speaker (a maximum 300 characters).
