The Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences at the University of Geneva is happy to announce a new summer course in International and Comparative Education.
International Education Policy and Governance
University of Geneva
July 8 - July 27th, 2012
The program is designed for graduate students (upper-year BA students with specialized interests will be considered) and future policy-makers interested in thinking more critically about issues of globalization and education and in incorporating international, comparative and intercultural perspectives into their analysis of education, curriculum and pedagogy. The program will also expose students to various careers in the public or private sector and will include meetings and discussions with professionals from a wide range of education professions in Geneva and internationally. Contact with NGOs and IOs (UNESCO, ILO, Enfants du monde, among others) is an important part of the curriculum. Successful completion of the course will result in 9 ECTS credits, as well as a Certificate.
