Issue 8 of IM:Interactive Media is seeking articles on the broad theme of Masculine/Feminine and screen media. The IM journal is an international peer refereed electronic publication of the National Academy of Screen and Sound based at Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia.
The editors are particularly interested in contributions from postgraduate students and audiovisual digital content makers that critically engage with their praxis and the theory of their medium.
Papers are due by 31 May, 2012. Online publication is anticipated to be October 2012.
Papers should normally not be longer than 5,000-6,000 words and include an abstract of 100-150 words and author biography of no more than 50 words.
