This year's Conference on Modern British History will be held at the University of Stirling from lunchtime on Tuesday 19 June until 5 p.m. on Wednesday 20 June, during which we are intending to have three main papers from senior academics and about thirty short papers by other academics or postgraduates. Professor Malcolm Chase (University of Leeds), Professor Jo Fox (University of Durham) and Professor Peter Hennessy, Baron Hennessy (Queen Mary, University of London) are to be the keynote speakers.
We welcome 20-minute papers covering any aspect (political, economic, social, cultural, religious and intellectual history) of the British past since the late eighteenth century up to c.2000 Deadline for submission of abstracts (via the booking form) is 30 April 2012.
