Madhyam Katha, a Bengali language journal of media culture in India is issuing a call for papers for its upcoming Inaugural Issue set to come out in September 2012. We are looking for critical articles written in Bengali language with subject matter that falls under the wide banner of media, communication and cultural studies relating to India or the SAARC countries. Young scholars are especially encouraged to apply.
The deadline for submission is June 30, 2012.
We are seeking articles between 3000 and 5000 words written in Bengali.
We also invite book reviews (1000-2000 words) of books broadly related to media, communication and popular culture in India.
