The postgraduate students from the History Programme of Victoria University of Wellington are holding the 7th annual New Historians Postgraduate Conference at Victoria University on the 27th and 28th August 2012. This conference has proved to be a great chance for postgraduate students from New Zealand and further afield to present their work in a friendly, supportive environment. Papers are invited on all historical themes, topics or issues from MA or PhD students. Applications from cognate disciplines are warmly welcomed. Presentations will be twenty minutes in length. Registration is $25. Please submit an abstract of no more than 200 words, a brief biographical statement of no more than 100 words and your contact details to newhistorians@myvuw.ac.nz The deadline for submissions is Friday 29th June 2012.
