Modernism and Film collection seeking historical approaches to the context in which film was created, 1890-1940. Possible topics incude cultural memory, social history of filmmaking and film makers, modernism and theory. This collection is under contract with a publisher.
Abstracts of 300 to 500 words by May 1, 2012. Completed papers of 3,000-6,000 words by October 1.
