The 9th International Meetings will focus on the rol of the woman in the medieval cities in the following topics: family, culture, work, exclusion and power.
The international conference will take place in Nájera (Spain), from July 24-27.
We are delighted to invite you to submit an oral or poster abstract to be considered for the 9th International Mettings of the Middle Ages.
Historians and Graduate students are encouraged to submit abstracts for research presentations.
Abstracts should be no more than 350 words and should clearly state the purpose, thesis, methodology, and principal findings of the paper to be presented.
All abstracts (máximum 500 characters) should be submitted electronically (either as a MS Word document or as text in the body of an e-mail) to Dr. Jesús A. Solórzano Telechea at solorzaja@unican.es.
Oral and poster abstract submissions should be submitted via e-mail (solorzaja@unican.es) as a Word document, before 4th May 2012. You will be informed by the coordinator if your abstract has been accepted or declined. Successful proposals will be pusblished in 2013.
The languages of the meetings are Spanish, English, French, Dutch, German, Italian and Portuguese. In addition to the academic sessions, the organizers will organize visits to medieval cities and places of interest.
