This Encyclopedia of Islamic Management aims to provide a comprehensive coverage and definitions of the most important
issues, concepts, trends relating to Islamic Management (Deadline for proposal: Nov.15, 2011).

Contributions to the publication: will be made by scholars and practitioners with well-established research portfolios and
expertise from a variety of disciplines such as management, finance and accounting, banking,marketing, human resources,
operations management, banking and other related areas. All contributions will be peer-reviewed. The Encyclopedia will provide a
compendium of terms, definitions and explanations of concepts, processes and acronyms. In addition, this volume will
feature articles (2,000-2,500) authored by leading experts, and offering an in-depth description of key terms and
concepts. The Encyclopedia will be organized around ten areas: (1) Historical and Theoretical Foundations; (2) Islamic Management;
(3) Islamic Finance; (4) Islamic Banking; (5) Islamic Quality Management; (6) Islamic Marketing;
(7) Islamic HRM; (8) Islamic Business Ethics (9) Islamic Management Education; (10) Case Studies and Applications; and (11) Future Trends and Development.
We invite participation from practitioners, researchers, educators and policy makers.
Submissions of proposals: (about 800 - 1,000 words) on all areas are welcome and may include research,
evaluation, policy and position papers related to Islamic Management research and development.
