On April 28th, 2012 Bergen Community College will host a conference on Social, Political, and Ethical Perspectives on Autism. Philosophers, clinicians, educators and politicians will address issues related to justice and the Autism Spectrum. Our keynote speaker will be Ari Ne'eman, President of the Autistic Self-Advocacy Network (ASAN) and President Obama's Appointee to the National Council on Disability. Additionally, state and county politicians will discuss issues such as housing, education, and resources for those on the Autism Spectrum.
We welcome those interested to register to attend the conference. We will be offering professional development to educators who attend. Information about registration can be found here:
