Samuel Adegboyega University, Ogwa invites you to present at a conference on “Rethinking Esan History in Contemporary Nigeria: Yesterday, Today and the Road Ahead.”
Keynote speaker: Professor Chima J. Korieh (Marquette University, United States). Lead Paper Presenter: Professor Siyan Oyeweso, FHSN (Osun State University).
Submissions should be within the main theme and can be designed to fit into any or combination of the under listed subthemes.

•Wars of Conquest, Expansion and Local Imperialism
•Political, Social, Economic/Trade Relations with neighbors

Interested presenters should submit their abstracts via email to: Dr Victor Ukaogo at vukaogo@yahoo.com and copy to eakubor@yahoo.com on or before April 30th, 2012. Authors of abstracts accepted for presentation will be notified on or before May 4th, 2012.Fully completed paper with institutional affiliation should be submitted by June 5th, 2012. The Conference fee is N8, 000..
