The Hawaii Women in Higher Education Conference (HWHE) is a regional conference dedicated to the advancement of collaborative research and innovative programs benefitting Hawaii’s women academics and professionals in Higher Education. This platform of collaboration and growth promotes women in higher education who are involved with the Hawaiian Islands, Polynesia, and the Pacific Islands.
The goal of HWHE is to provide an opportunity for women academicians and professionals from Hawaii, the Hawaiian Islands, Polynesia, the Pacific Islands, and the Pacific Rim academicians and professionals working in various higher education fields with cross-disciplinary interests to bridge the knowledge gap, promote research excellence and innovative program development and improve instructional skills. The HWHE invites research papers that encompass innovative and entrepreneurial approaches to higher education; conceptual analysis; design implementation and performance evaluation.
